My little brother and I snuck away from work a bit early last Thursday and went for a nice fat bike ride. We rode the fantastic Coyote Canyon Trail up in Heber Valley. We started at the trailhead right next to the highway heading up to Jordanelle Dam and rode the loop counter-clockwise. At the time it seemed like an awful lot of climbing, but in the end, it seemed like a good way to go. We had really nice downhill sections on the backside through maple and aspen forests. This trail has beautiful, very rideable singletrack the whole way. It was a great ride. It came in at 20.7 miles with 2,449 feet of climbing. Here are a few photos from the ride.
